The Wall Mural

I painted a wall opposite the Mudo shop. Started Wednesday 31 Oct and finished on the Thursday 01 November. I had help from a few people including John and Sharon Martin from the US, a girl from the Mudo shop, Serin my Art & Life colleague and The Netsel Marina Manager Caglar Altuntas...
And that evening, Wednesday 31 October, lighting allows us to work on...

Next day by 14.00hr I've nearly finished...
We pose for a sensible group shot...Mmm...this is all terribly sensible.
Let's have some silly photos...
I hold a Koc Allianz banner for the camera...Caglar says a few words to camera...
Then I go for a climb to hold a Netsel Marina banner...

Side view with Mudo on the left and the wall on the right...
The mural is nicely reflected in the Mudo shop window, but it doesn't show up here clearly...

The Art & Life Gallery

Tuesday 30 October Serin and I flew down to Dalaman, were collected at the airport by Izzet Bey and by the evening attended a cocktail evening to open the exhibition at the Netsel Marina Art & Life Gallery. As I type 2 business cards on my desk of visitors to the opening were Mesut Baran from http://www.yelkendunyasi.com and Arif Olgun of www.denizbank.com
Below we see Canadians Jean and Bill Cote of www.soleilsansfin.com
They live on a yacht currently moored at Netsel Marmaris Marina. On my return to Istanbul their photos of the wall mural were the first received...

Bill was having a good look...
Chatting to the press...

A visitor examines my work...

Some one having a particularly close look...

The Doluca wine stand...

More chatting to the press...Still chatting and listening...Signing stuff...Yachtsmen making an inspection and checking the prices...

Caglar, Serin, Gulden and Ned...
Gulden from Netsel and Serin from Art & Life...
And then some one found a guitar...

Inside the gallery...

Round the corner next day...
Looking in through the window...
More visitors...Signing more stuff...
Talking to a local Marmaris Art Foundation representative...

Standing back from the gallery...
Further back...
Even further back...
At dusk...
